Jo, apie Kiniją ir aš žinutę mačiau. Kaunas, be abejo, kad gerai JAV ekonomikai, jau vien gerai susilpnėjęs doleris, ko pasekoje, dažniausiai eksportas atsigauna.

Ir ju ekonomika po truputi tures persiorientuoti is visisko eksporto i vidaus vartojima, bent jau dalinai. |

Zeze, pas mane platformoje rašo štai ką:
--Beijing recognized more needed to tackle inflation --Higher rates and bank reserve requirements not enough --Yuan revaluation would surprise market, reduce prices --Stronger yuan would probably help dollar, weaken euro By Nicholas Hastings A DOW JONES NEWSWIRES COLUMN LONDON (Dow Jones)--Watch out for a curve ball from China. This could come in the form of an unexpected yuan revaluation that might change the landscape of currency markets more in favor of the dollar. The risk of such a curve ball is growing fast as Beijing's efforts to tackle inflation with only interest rate rises and higher bank reserve requirements show limited success. Consumer prices have continued to rise, with the Chinese inflation rate reaching 5.4% last month, and the country's foreign currency reserves have ballooned to over $3 trillion as the People's Bank of China manages a very gradual appreciation of the yuan's peg against the dollar. There are indications, however, that Beijing is starting to recognize the importance of imported price pressures and is looking at the yuan as an anti-inflation tool. By letting the currency rise more rapidly, the People's Bank would not only be able to reduce dollar purchases that are starting to undermine its ability to manage domestic monetary policy but it would lower the cost of raw materials from abroad. PBOC Governor Zhou Xiaochuan acknowledged this in a speech this week, asserting that the yuan will play a greater part in fighting inflation. His comments came as new data showed that yuan-denominated transactions now account for 7% of Chinese foreign trade. This is a sharp rise from only 0.5% a year ago and points to the growing importance of the Chinese currency. How big a curve ball China could throw is, of course, uncertain. The PBOC could just accelerate the appreciation of the yuan's trading band against the dollar. At the current rate, the currency should rise by about 3% this year. Experts reckon that any meaningful acceleration needs to take this up to 7%. However, moving the throttle slowly rather than all at once could be self-defeating. In a study of the options, Bank of New York Mellon's keen China-watcher, Simon Derrick, warns that while gradual acceleration might be less disruptive for Chinese exporters, it would encourage more inflows into the country. Instead, he suggests, China might be better off with a one-off revaluation that surprises the market, keeps a lid on inflows, and acts as a more aggressive inflation-fighting tool. For the U.S. and the dollar, a stronger yuan should be good news. The U.S. has been pressing China for years to stop manipulating its currency. A stronger yuan would help the U.S. recovery by making U.S. exports more competitive. At the same time, however, the suggestion that Chinese growth is being capped could be seen as bad for the global outlook and a negative for high-yielders benefiting from the recent recovery in risk appetite. Not only would currencies such as the Australian dollar fall out of favor but the euro, which would no longer benefit from the diversification of Chinese reserves out of the dollar, could also find itself under new selling pressure. In other words, the dollar's recent decline against the single currency could no longer be taken for granted and the pattern of trading among major currencies that has prevailed for months could change.
