We keep our 10% dividend forecast for 2021.
We leave our dividend forecast unchanged and foresee attractive regular dividends
plus an extra dividend to be declared and paid in 2022 (from 2021 year’s profits). As
we wrote in our report “Nice yield coming up” on 5 Mar 2021, we foresee nice
dividends once the ECB will lift the dividend restriction – this happened on 23 July
2021 when the ECB said they will lift the cap on how much lenders can return to
shareholders. We reiterate our 2021 regular dividend forecast of EUR 0.037 per share
plus an extra dividend of EUR 0.04 per share as the Company is overcapitalized.
According to our calculation, the company has EUR 80m or EUR 0.13 per share in
excess capital given the desired (in Q2/21 webinar presentation) risk appetite Capital
adequacy ratio of 15.5% (currently 19.5%). Worth noting is that both our 2021
estimated regular and extra dividends are not expected to be proposed until March
2022 in connection with the announcement of the Annual General Meeting. Our
estimated 2021 regular dividend yield is 5.1% (4.4% net) while our extra dividend
corresponds to a yield of 5.5% (4.7% net) for a total yield of 10.7% (9.1% net). We do
not foresee an extra dividend in 2022 or 2023, but the regular dividend yield of 5.3%
(4.5% net), and 5.4% (4.6% net), respectively is attractive in our view. Interesting to
note is that Siauliu Bankas is not alone in having distributable excess capital following
the lifting of the ECB restriction. According to Bloomberg, the ten biggest euro-area
banks have more than EUR 22bn that could be distributed as dividends following the
lifting of the ECB restriction

I think that only Latvians are dull and dream of SAF for 20 euros, but I read here each other also hopes for the price-"price should be at 19-22 EUR": nr683349. I'm not saying the company is good, maybe it's worth 20 euros, but it seems fantastic to me.
